The cube

Smaller than your mug.

Soft-cornered machined aluminum, 85 millimeters on a side. No fan, so you'll forget it's there. The ring on top lights when it wants a word with you, and stays dark the rest of the time.

On a shelf, a desk, the kitchen counter. Anywhere there's a socket.

Glows

Only when it needs a yes from you. Touch the top to give it one.

Lasts

Five years of updates, and a module you swap instead of buying the whole thing again.
